During Sai Maa’s birthday (August 2nd), we celebrate the physical birth of Sai Maa, the birth of our relationship with Maa and the birth of our spiritual awakening.
On this day, Maa is deeply engaged in planetary work and makes a tremendous outpouring of energy and rapid spiritual transformation available to us.
There were many beautiful opportunities to celebrate Sai Maa’s birthday as a community. When we gather in devotion, our collective love amplifies the energy and blessings available for ourselves, and for the world.
We celebrated the Unity of Light, a Celebration of the Birthday of Her Holiness Jagadguru Sai Maa in Bodh Gaya, Bharat (India).
The Celebration was also livestreamed from the Buddhist monastery from 12:30 – 3:30am New York time on August 2, 2025.
While recently in Izu, Japan, Her Holiness Sai Maa had a meaningful meeting with Swami Adityananda Giri. Deeply inspired by their shared vision, Swamiji invited Sai Maa to speak at this special online Darshan event for world peace and the protection of Mother Earth.
The event took place at 9:00am NY time on August 2, and included spiritual leaders and artists from Japan’s sacred community. It was a powerful satsang on Sai Maa’s Birthday.
There was a birthday yagya for Her Holiness Jagadguru Sai Maa followed by aarti from 7:50 – 11:00am NY time on August 2.
Following the birthday yagya, from 11:00am – 12:00pm NY time, there was a global community Birthday meditation with Sai Maa’s Successor and the Mahamandaleshwars.
Many of you have asked how to offer Sai Maa a birthday gift. For those who wish to offer a gift of gratitude, we recommend offering funds for flowers, or offering Sai Maa Dakshina (monetary gift). We have summarized how to participate in each of these options in a pdf.
