Our Impact

A Year of Impact Powered by You

Welcome to our 2024 Annual Report, a celebration of the incredible impact made possible by your generosity. This year, your support has transformed thousands of lives and created meaningful change for those we serve.

With the mission of ending human suffering, MAA Humanitarian operates on two key fronts: providing real-time relief for those impacted by natural disasters and supporting humanitarian initiatives at our Ashram. Each project is blessed and aligned with Sai Maa’s vision, amplifying the impact on those we serve.

2024 Highlights

Desafío Levantemos Chile

In February 2024, Chile faced devastating wildfires that engulfed entire neighborhoods, trapping individuals as they fled in their vehicles. The death toll reached over 100 with 300 people missing. Your donations provided emergency care for families who lost everything.

Hurricane Assistance

In fall 2024, two powerful hurricanes ravaged the Southern USA, devastating homes, communities, and lives. With your generous support, we provided aid to eight food banks from Florida to North Carolina, focusing on the hardest-hit areas.

IMPACT

Hunger Relief

The Ashram staff continuously provides nutritious meals to local families, workers and Sadhus, a critical offering when 44% of residents struggle with food insecurity. This year your donations supported a breakfast program 6 days a week and Bhandaras that include hot, nutritious meals. You served over 80,000 daily breakfasts and 15,000 community meals in 2024.

Dreams to Degrees

In 2024, we launched a program empowering girls in Kashi’s slum communities to receive college degrees. By breaking barriers like early marriage and poverty, this initiative helps young women achieve their dreams and creates lasting change for their families and communities.

Ending generational poverty through education

Gift of Sight

The Gift of Sight program conducted several eye camps in impoverished rural communities in the district of Uttar Pradesh, Bharat (India). Over 500 people received exams, 132 people regained eyesight through free cataract surgery and 320 people received glasses and medicine.
