Sacred fire ceremonies known as Yagyas, have been a cherished tradition practiced in India for thousands of years. Sai Maa works closely with respected Vedic priests who perform the yagyas, clearing unconscious energies that hold you back in life.
Eye cataract surgery (seen left, women’s empowerment programs, hunger relief, protection of vulnerable children and medical camps for the poor are the focus of Sai Maa’s humanitarian efforts in India.
This ancient festival, believed to have originated several millennia ago, attracts over 100 million pilgrims who gather for several weeks to bathe in the holy rivers at times of astrological alignment.

In 2007, the Vaishnav Sadhu Society honored Her Holiness Sai Maa with the title of Jagadguru Bhaktimayi Meera Bai at the Ardh Kumbh Mela in Allahabad, India. Endorsed by the highly revered Sri Satuwa Baba Maharaj, Sai Maa is the first female to be awarded this prestigious title in India’s 2,700 years of the Vishnuswami lineage and the known history of the Kumbh Mela.
The term Jagadguru is one of the highest designations in the Hindu tradition. From Sanskrit, jagat means “universe” and guru means “teacher” or “master.” Jagadgurus are recognized as embodying the power and influence to transform the entire planet.
